Kurukshetra Chess (“we”, “the app”) is built with respect — for the game, for the Gita, and for you. We collect as little as possible, and we never sell your data. This page explains what we handle and why.
What we collect
- Your email, only if you join the early-access or launch list on this website. We use it to write to you about the app and nothing else.
- An anonymous play account. To sync your games, streaks, and online challenges, the app creates an anonymous identifier. It is not tied to your name.
- Gameplay data — your moves, results, and progress — so we can save your games and show your review.
- Basic diagnostics to keep the app stable and fix crashes.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
- We do not offer real-money games, wagers, or stakes of any kind.
- We do not require your real name or phone number to play.
Services we rely on
- Resend delivers our emails and holds the address you give us for the mailing list.
- Google Firebase provides anonymous sign-in and stores your games and online challenges securely.
Email and your choices
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can leave the list at any time, and you may ask us to delete your address by writing to the contact below.
Children
Kurukshetra Chess is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
